Sugaring FAQs

What is sugaring?

Sugaring is a natural hair removal method using a mix of sugar, lemon, and water. It gently removes hair from the root and exfoliates the skin—perfect for even the most sensitive areas.

Is sugaring painful?

Most people find it less painful than waxing, especially over time. It's gentle on the skin and gets easier with regular treatments.

How long should my hair be?

Hair should be about ¼ inch long—roughly the size of a grain of rice. Too short? Wait a few days. Too long? I can trim!

How long will results last?

You’ll stay smooth for about 3–4 weeks. With regular visits, hair grows back finer and slower.

Can I get sugared while on my period?

Yes, but you may be more sensitive during this time. If you're getting a Brazilian, a fresh tampon or menstrual cup is required. Not comfortable? You're welcome to reschedule—no problem at all.

Can I sugar while pregnant?

Absolutely! Sugaring is safe during pregnancy and a great self-care option. Just let me know ahead of time so we can make your visit more comfortable.

What should I avoid after sugaring?

  • To prevent irritation, avoid the following for at least 24 hours:

    • Sex (especially after a Brazilian)

    • The gym, heavy sweating, or hot tubs

    • Tight clothing

    • Exfoliating the area
